Traditional Acupuncture

With this classic, Chinese approach you can expect to be diagnosed through tongue, pulse and interview. This traditional style involves stainless steel needles (fine, hair-like) inserted in specific points to balance the body and clear blocks in the Chinese Meridian System, benefitting most conditions.   Trudy may integrate other branches of East Asian Medicine:  moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, herbs or nutrition.

               Adjunct Therapies:
 Cupping, Moxibustion, Gua Sha,
              Electroacupuncture

There are many adjunct therapies that are used to complement or reinforce the acupuncture treatment.  The 3 most common traditional methods that Trudy uses are Cupping, Moxibustion and Gua Sha.  She also uses the modern technique, electroacupuncture for synergistic results for pain relief.
